1) BHMS Course Brief Information:-

BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery which is an undergraduate degree course.It is a total course of five and half years
Homeopathic adjuncts are taught in this course.As we know that Ayurvedic treatment is a healing system that has been practiced since ancient times.

2) Educational qualification required for admission to BHMS course :-

■ Students must have passed 12th to get admission in BHMS course.
■ Also must have passed 12th PCB Physics Chemistry Biology with group.
■ Also 12th must have at least 50 percent marks Whereas SC and ST require 45 percent marks

3) Entrance test to be given for admission to BHMS course :-

■ To get admission in BHMS course one has to clear National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.NEET
■ You have to apply online for this entrance exam.After applying through online mode we can give the exam according to which we get the exam date.
■ A total of 180 questions are asked in this exam and all the questions are of multiple choice type.
■ After passing this exam, students are admitted to the colleges according to the merit list.

4) BHMS course fee:-

■ The fees for BHMS course may be different for each college depending on the location of the college and the facilities available to the students there,The facility of placement depends on these things.

■ 5000 to 90 thousand per year in government college for DHMS course Also for this course you may have to pay a fee of around 1.25 lakhs per year in a private college.

5) Syllabus of BHMS Course:-

■ The syllabus of BHMS course is divided into a total duration of four years.
Two semesters are conducted every year The syllabus for BHMS course in India for each year is as follows,


  First Year Syllabus of BHMS Course :-

1) Homeopaty Pharmacy.
2) Human body Anatomy
3) Human body Histology.
4) Human body Embryology
5) Physiology including biochemistry Organon of medicine, 
6) Principles of Homeopathic
7) Philosophy and Psychology
8) Homeopathic Materia Medica

■ 2nd Year Syllabus of BHMS Course :-

1) Forensic Medicine and Toxicology
2) Pathology and Microbiology
3) Obstetrics and Gynaecology Infant care and Homero                       therapeutics
4) Sergery including ENT, Eye Dental, and Homoeotherapeutics.
5) The practice of medicine and Homeo therapeutic
    Organon of medicine and Principles of Homer Homoeopathic          Philosophy

 Syllabus in third year of BHMS course:-

1) Homeopathic Materia Medica.
2) Organon of medicine
3) The practice of Medicine and Homeco therapeutic
4) Surgery Including ENT, Ophthalmology, and Homoeo                     Therapeutics ,Dental
5) Obstetrics and Gynaecology Infant Care and Homoeo                     Therapeutics
6) Research Project.

3) Community Medicine
4) Homoeopathic Materia Medica
5) The practice of Medicine and HomoeoTherapeutics.

6) Job opportunities available after completion of BHMS course:-

■ After completing BHMS course one can pursue further education as well as private job as well as government job.

■ After completing BHMS course you can start your own business i.e. own hospital and by starting your own hospital you can treat patients.

■  After completing BHMS you can work in both government and private hospitals.
Also, after completing this course, we can also get jobs as pharmacists in homeopathic medical shops.
