1) Brief information about IIT:-

        IIT stands for Indian Institute 
of Technology 
which is a world renowned educational institute.
IIT is considered as the best institution to study and 
it is every student's dream to get my education from 
IIT Because the quality of education in IITs 
is considered very high and there are many job 
opportunities after completing the education from here.
         You have to work hard to get admission in IIT institutes many students parents know the name IIT but also know its importance. But they don't have complete knowledge about IIT like how to take admission in IT, when to take admission, how much is the fee of IIT and where do you get job

2) Educational qualification required 
     for admission in IITs:- 

A student must have passed 12th to get 
  admission in IIT.
Also must have passed 12th PCMB i.e. 
  Physics Chemistry Mathematics and Biology.
Also students must have minimum 75 %
  marks in science stream 
  (65 % marks for SC, ST).

3) Entrance Test to be given for 
     admission in IITs:-

To get admission in IIT you have to take the 
entrance exam after giving the entrance exam 
the merit list is announced according to the 
marks obtained and then the students are 
admitted.This exam is conducted in total 
two parts-

A) JEE Main
B) JEE Advanced

First of all, if a student wants to apply for
  admission in an IIT, he has to clear JEE
  Mains first.
Only after clearing the JEE Mains exam can he 
  apply for J Advance and then the students who 
  clear it are admitted to IITs based on merit.
  Let us now see how the format of this entrance 
  exam is. In this entrance exam there are total 
  two papers paper one and paper two.

Paper I
•contains a total of 90 questions from 
  Chemistry Physics and Mathematics and 
  carries four marks for each question.
•Paper One is of total 360 marks.

Paper II
•asks questions on Maths Aptitude Test 
  Drawing Test.
•Paper Two is of total 390 marks.

In ITI entrance exam almost 25% questions are 
asked from 11th while 55% questions are asked 
from 12th.
We can apply for admission in IIT three times 
in total.

-Indian Institute of Technology was first 
established 
 in India in 1951 at Khadakpur 
 in West Bengal.
-On 15 September 1956, the Parliament of India 
 declared it as an Institute of National Importance 
-under the Indian Institute of Technology 
 Khadakpur Act.
 Khadak was attended by the first Prime Minister 
 of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
 All the IITs in the country fall under the category 
 of autonomous universities.
