1) Brief information about GNM Course:-

                      GNM stands for General Nursing and 
Midwifery.GNM is a three year diploma course GNM 
Nursing admissions are held once in a year and the 
student has to be medically fit to get admission for 
this course.
        This course is considered best for those who 
wish to work towards ensuring the health and 
welfare of society.This course is important for 
students who are interested in medical field or 
want to pursue a career in medical field.GNM 
course can be done by both male and female and 
it is a total three and a half year course consisting 
of three years classroom syllabus and six months 
of enternship training.
            This course covers many aspects like how to 
take care of patients, how to give timely medicine 
to them, how to give first aid to patients.

2) Educational qualification required for admission to 
GNM course:-

•To get admission in GNM Nursing, students need to 
  have passed 12th.
•students have passed 12th from science stream.
•student Pass in English subject is mandatory.
•minimum 40 percent marks in science stream 
  is required in class 12th.

3) GNM Course Fee:-
•When it comes to medical field, many people 
  remember that the cost of medical education is 
  quite high, but the cost of GNM course is much 
  less than other medical courses.
•The fee for GNM course usually ranges from 
  Rs.30000 to Rs.2.50 lakh.
  In government institutions, this fee is a little less, 
  ranging from approximately Rs.10,000 to Rs.1 lakh.

4) Entrance test for admission to GNM 
     course:-
Different entrance exams are conducted in each state 
for admission to GNM Nursing.
For admission to GNM Nursing in Maharashtra, 
entrance exam(MH-CET) is conducted through 
Maharashtra Nursing Council Mumbai.
After the result of the entrance exam, the merit list 
is announced based on the marks obtained by the 
students and accordingly the students are admitted.
